By creating an account, participating in discussions, accessing resources, or using any part of this website, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
Members are expected to:
Treat all community members with respect and courtesy.
Engage in discussions constructively and in good faith.
Respect differing opinions, experiences, and perspectives.
Communicate professionally and thoughtfully.
Help foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others.
Report concerns or breaches of this Code of Conduct when they arise.
The following behaviours will not be tolerated:
Harassing, intimidating, threatening, stalking, or abusing another member.
Repeated unwanted contact or communication.
Personal attacks, insults, or deliberate attempts to humiliate or shame others.
Encouraging others to target, harass, or exclude a member.
We have zero tolerance for discrimination, prejudice, or hate speech based on, but not limited to: race or ethnicity, nationality, indigenous status, religion or belief, disability, neurodiversity, or health condition, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital or family status, pregnancy or parental status, or socioeconomic status.
This includes, but is not limited to: racism, ableism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, sexism, religious discrimination, and any other discriminatory conduct or language.
Members must not post, share, or distribute:
Offensive, abusive, threatening, or hateful content.
Content that promotes violence or discrimination.
Sexually explicit or inappropriate material.
Defamatory or knowingly false information.
Content intended to provoke, antagonise, or deliberately disrupt discussions.
Members must not:
Share another person's personal or confidential information without their consent.
Record, screenshot, reproduce, or distribute private conversations without permission.
Use information obtained through the community to harass, intimidate, or harm others.
If you experience or witness behaviour that breaches this Code of Conduct, please report it to the website administrators as soon as possible.
Reports will be treated seriously and, where possible, confidentially. All reports will be reviewed fairly and impartially.
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in one or more of the following actions:
A warning
Removal of content
Temporary suspension of access
Permanent removal from the community
Restriction of access to specific features or services
Referral to appropriate authorities where required by law
The website administrators reserve the right to determine appropriate action based on the nature and severity of the breach.
Retaliation against any person who makes a report in good faith, participates in an investigation, or raises concerns about community conduct will not be tolerated.
To maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment, the website owners, administrators, moderators, and their authorised representatives reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to investigate any alleged breach of this Code of Conduct and to take any action they deem appropriate.
Such actions may include but are not limited to: issuing warnings; removing or editing content; restricting access to certain features or services; suspending a member's account temporarily; permanently terminating a member's account and access to the website; and referring matters to relevant authorities where required by law.
The website owners reserve the right to remove any member, content, or activity that they reasonably believe may compromise the safety, wellbeing, reputation, operation, or integrity of the community, whether or not such conduct is specifically listed within this Code of Conduct.
Except where required by law, the website owners are not obligated to provide prior notice, reasons for their decision, or an opportunity for review before taking action under this Code of Conduct.
By participating in the community, members acknowledge and agree that all decisions regarding moderation, suspension, or termination of membership are made in good faith for the purpose of protecting the community and ensuring compliance with this Code of Conduct and any applicable terms of use.
"This Code of Conduct shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes arising from its application shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales."
By checking the acceptance box, creating an account, accessing the website, or continuing to participate in the community, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.
I understand that failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of my membership and access to the website.
